The CHS boys soccer team will be traveling up the road to Lincoln tonight for a 6:00 p.m. Division I matchup.

Cumberland comes in at 1–4–1 after finally breaking through with a 3–2 win over Shea on Wednesday. Lincoln has been one of the hottest teams in the state, entering at 7–0–1 after a 4–1 win over North Smithfield.

On paper, it is a tough draw. For Cumberland, the opportunity is to carry the confidence from Wednesday’s win, stay organized defensively and make Lincoln earn everything. A strong showing against an unbeaten team could go a long way toward changing the direction of the Clippers’ season.
