The CHS girls soccer team will host North Kingstown Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., looking to continue what has been a dominant start to the season.
Cumberland comes in 6–0, outscoring opponents 21–2. The Clippers have won in different ways and are coming off a 6–0 win over South Kingstown.
This will be the second meeting with North Kingstown. Cumberland won the first matchup, 2–0, back on August 27. The Skippers will get another shot Saturday, but this one comes on Cumberland’s home field and against a Clippers team that looks even stronger than it did three weeks ago.
At 6–0 and sitting first in Division I, Cumberland has earned everybody’s attention. The next job is protecting the home field and keeping the streak moving.
